I’m Nerys, a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Aotearoa.

I run Active Graffiti Evolvement (A.G.E) creating murals for councils & hosting graffiti workshops. I was recognized nationally for my works as Te Manu piirere, Emerging Māori Artist by Creative NZ at the Te Waka Toi Awards in 2018.

MURAL WORK

I created A.G.E in 2019 as a direct response to the vandalism we encountered in our playgrounds.


Since then I have been commissioned by Nelson City Council & Tasman District Council, as well as local schools to install 30+ murals including the first legal graffiti walls in Te Tau Ihu, the Top of the South Island NZ. The largest mural I’ve painted so far (over 100m in length) was commissioned in 2022 by Nelson College, & the following year I had the opportunity to paint my former primary school in Gower, Wales.


I enjoy working & sharing my knowledge with the next generation of Artists through pop up events & workshops.
